You’ve probably figured out by now that reducing fabric waste and putting your scraps to good use isn’t going to happen on its own.
You’ve probably figured out by now that reducing fabric waste and putting your scraps to good use isn’t going to happen on its own.
Overwhelmed by the sheer volume of fabric scraps in your sewing space that keeps growing with every new project.
Unsure of what colors to put together and have a hard time getting started because you’re afraid your projects will look like a hot mess.
Frustrated by your current scrap storage but aren’t sure how to create a workable system to efficiently categorize and store them.
Struggling to find ways to effectively utilize your fabric scraps with projects that align with your quilting skills and interests.
Step into your space and be greeted by a well-organized and inspiring collection of fabric scraps.
Confidently mix and match colors for both scrappy and coordinated projects.
Put your fabric scraps to good use with fun and creative quilting projects.
Have systems in place to manage and use up every fabric scrap in ways that feel good to you.
When I took in several bags of fabric remnants from friends who were decluttering their stashes, my sewing and quilting scraps multiplied overnight. I couldn’t bring myself to throw anything away, and I quickly realized the scrap management system I had been using would no longer work. My sewing space was crowded with unorganized scrap bags, and I knew I needed a different approach.
Through research, personal reflection, and a whole lot of testing and tweaking I developed a scrap storage and organization system that allows me to utilize my scraps in such a way that fits seamlessly into my own sewing process. Repurposing my scraps has also led to many new exciting quilting and sewing projects along the way.
Check out the incredible lineup of teachers you’ll be learning from at the Conquer Your Fabric Scraps Summit!
These quilting experts will share their go-to methods for organizing scraps, teach creative ways to repurpose fabric remnants of all sizes, and explain actionable tips for getting colors to blend together in cohesive and scrappy ways.

These classes will definitely inspire you and teach you practical (and fun!) strategies for using your fabric scraps.
The summit officially kicks off on August 15 but you don’t need to wait until then to start learning! In the email you receive right after you register, you’ll get immediate access to value-packed videos from all the teachers as they share scrap tips and tools with you. These short videos will help motivate you to jump start your scrap organization before the first day of classes.

Upgrade your free ticket and get the Scrap Success Bundle!
This includes additional classes, patterns, and resources from the teachers and access to several live events after the summit to keep your momentum going. Also, you won’t need to watch all 27 classes in 4 days. With the Bundle you’ll have extended access to ALL the classes and videos so you can take your time learning the techniques and making the projects.
You’ll get all the Bundle details (and a special price offer) after registering for the free event!
You don’t need another event highlighting new quilting projects that are just going to add MORE to your expanding pile of fabric leftovers.
I know you care about conserving resources and reducing waste, and I want to help you unleash your creativity while making the most of your scrap stash and reducing its volume.
Sure, you can quickly search online for ways to use scraps, but the Conquer Your Fabric Scrap Summit is so much more than scrap-busting projects.
The summit was beautifully organized with a great variety of approaches to using scraps. I was actually quite impressed and would definitely join next year and buy the bundle 😊

This was a fabulous summit and every style of how to quilt and use scraps was explored. The presenters were clear and had great ideas and inspiration. The obvious joy the presenters have in their personal quilt journeys was wonderful to see and hearing about their creative journeys was fun and exciting. So grateful for the summit and finding these like minded folks.
~Lori F.
A worldwide gathering of inspirational speakers. All brought something different to the table, and gave many ideas for dealing with/managing/using scraps. I’ll be back for the next summit! Thanks Nicki for setting this up.
~MG
The Summit was the impetus for me to rethink the scraps and fabrics in my stash. It gave me concrete steps to take to organize my scraps and terrific ideas for how to turn them into quilted treasures.
~Whitney B.
Every single day I had multiple ideas I took away from this summit. Each speaker was interesting and I learned so much! I woke up every morning looking forward to the classes for the day. I put this program ahead of my chores, which is the highest praise I can give any activity, (normally my “me time” comes at the end of the day). Thank you for producing this wonderful program.

Conquer Your Fabric Scraps Summit is all about helping quilters discover practical tips and techniques to organize and store fabric remnants as well as creative ways to repurpose scraps of all sizes. Summit classes cover:
This 2024 Conquer Your Fabric Scraps summit is for you if:
If you are new to quilting and your scrap pile is currently small and manageable this event is for you, too. (Because it doesn’t take too long before those scraps get out of control.)
If you ONLY sew clothes, this summit is probably not for you. All the teachers are quilting experts, and there are no classes that focus on using or managing scraps from garment construction. However, not all the classes are about quilting. There are a few classes on non-quilting techniques and home decor projects, one class on making things to wear from your scraps and several classes on managing your mindset (being creative, overcoming obstacles, perfectionism, and being an awesome beginner).
The free summit runs from August 15 – 18, 2024. The 27 classes are spread out over 4 days. Each day a new set of pre-recorded classes will be released at 9:00 am CDT (central daylight time). The free classes will be available to watch for 48 hours.
But you don’t have to wait until August 15 to start learning. Once you register, you’ll get immediate access to 21 Tips and Tools for Scraps videos. In these short, value-packed videos (5 minutes or less), each teacher shares her favorite scrap organization methods, books, and tools with you so you can start conquering your fabric scraps. In addition, you’ll also be able to join our private Facebook community and join in on the fun right away!
Yes, you will. No matter what time zone you are in, you have 48 hours to watch the free classes. You just need to convert the start time to your time zone. There are many online tools to help you do that.

Note: The Tips and Tools for Scraps videos will be available for you to watch as soon as you register until the last day of the summit.
The presentations are pre-recorded, and available for 48 hours with your free ticket. So I encourage you to watch the teachers you don’t want to miss first!
