Kawandi Style Quilting

Project, Technique – 46 minutes

Kawandi Style Quilting is a slow-stitching technique that is absolutely perfect for using up your precious scrap fabrics. In this class you will slow down and stitch up a small quilt by hand to learn the technique. This mindful sewing practice helps me remember why I love quilting so much.

Once you have mastered the technique, you can go on and make larger pieces.

If hand stitching makes you cringe, you can certainly use the same folding and overlapping technique to assemble your piece on a sewing machine. I do that, sometimes too.
